About Gulf Coast Charters
Gulf Coast Charters is a directory of independent charter captains from Texas to the Florida Keys. Fishing-led, but we list the other trips too — sunset, sail, dive, inshore family days. We do not own the boats and we are not a fleet.
How it works
A captain lists the boat, photos, prices, and home port. You find them, send a quote, and book direct. That contact-captain listing is free for the captain — we do not take a cut.
On-platform checkout is optional, later, if we are actually sending trips they can see. Then the fee is 10% (8% for founding captains). It is not 15%, and it is not required to be listed.
What the badges mean
USCG documented means the hull matched the public Coast Guard PSIX documented-vessel list. It is not a safety inspection and it is not “USCG verified.” A captain license check, when present, is a separate MMC lookup — also not a live boarding.
Who this is for
Anglers and families who want a real boat and a reachable captain, not another 15% marketplace with fake reviews. Captains who already have a phone and a website and just want to be findable without giving up the booking.
